The eighteen approved Professors and nine Evening college Professors work as a single homogeneous, well-knit team with the aim of imparting excellent liberal education to the Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Research students of our Department. There is also a Literary and Debating Society run by the Department which organises the Periodic Seminars, Quiz Programmes and Guest Lectures to benefit the students. Most of these Programs of our Department are student-oriented and the Professors act only as friendly guides. Innovative subjects have been introduced in the recent past. For instance, a paper entitled "Public Speaking in English" was introduced at the Under-Graduate level.
