Aged 56, is a product of Madras
University, Botany Department,
1972, specialized in Plant Pathology.
|
|

He
is having wide
experience in industrial and academic research over 25 years,
visited Cincinnate(USA)
in 1987, handled four major projects from UGC, ICAR, DST, DOE
and two minor projects from companies.
|
He
is responsible for building the Department of Botany and
Microbiology. He
is having rapport
with industries and bio-fertilizer units and Universities.

He
is spreading the technology to other states too in India
. Published one book , conducted 18 seminars, published 23
papers , attended 53 seminars, guided 5 students
for the award of Ph.D
(and 4 are working), 16 M.Phil students
and 8 Diploma
students.

Gave
training for
sugar industry specific topic, nitrogen fixing non-symbiotic
micro organisms. He
is the Programme Director for Young Students Scientists
Programme for 2 districts.
