A Doctorate in Botany, is an alumni of St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapalli. Got Graduate and Post Graduate degrees from Madras University, Doctorate from Bharathidasan University with an experience of 32 years of teaching in Collegiate Education. A researcher in Medicinal Plants, Herbal Medicine, Organic Farming and Plant Ecology. An ardent lover of photography, tourism and diversified cultures. Has published many research papers in reputed journals.

Guided 15 M.Phil students on Medicinal Plants and 10 students have got Ph.D. degrees. Extended his expertise as member of Board of Studies in Bharathidasan University and a number of autonomous colleges in Tamilnadu. Has acted as Resource Person in Refresher Courses for colleges teachers being conducted by Bharathidasan University. Presented many research papers in National and International Symposia, Seminar, Conferences on Medicinal Plants. Interest in leadership training of youth and service oriented programmes. Established many Natural Life Centres in Tamilnadu and propagating Healthy way of life among students and public.
